The factory oil filter housing cap on B48 and B58-powered BMWs is an overlooked weak point. The plastic cap deforms and cracks under repeated heat cycles and oil pressure, causing leaks, sealing failure, and difficult service. This billet cap permanently eliminates that risk.

Machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum on a five-axis CNC and hard-anodized for corrosion resistance, with exact thread tolerances for smooth installation and removal. A reinforced design prevents warping under heat and pressure.
