OEM+ means three things.

Factory fit

Every part is made to the OEM part number it replaces and bolts to the factory mounting points. No brackets to bend, no hoses to trim.

Factory function

We don't fight BMW's engineering. Flow paths, capacities and sensor locations stay where the factory put them, so the DME behaves exactly as it should.

Better material

The plastic that cracks becomes billet 6061-T6, machined rather than molded. That's the upgrade, and it's the only one we make.

Billet B58 oil filter housing

The B58's one real weak point, machined out.

The factory housing is plastic. Heat cycles warp and crack it, mixing oil and coolant and setting off low-pressure warnings. Ours is cut from a single block of 6061-T6 on a five-axis CNC, hard-anodized, with precision-milled sealing faces. Fits B58 Gen 1 and Gen 2.

Machined inlet neck on the Max-Q radiator end tank

We set out to build a bigger radiator. We kept the factory core.

Thicker radiators overcool the N54 and N55; their thermostat is map-controlled and calibrated for the OEM core. The part that actually fails is the plastic tank, so that's the part we replaced, with billet 6061-T6. First batch ships January.
